5 Bottles of Wine, Street Meat & A Whole Lot of Exercise
I'm back from my mini vacation!
We did Canada’s Wonderland, got on all the rides except Leviathan… because who honestly wants to wait 2 hours in line in the hot hot heat?! So we took #KoolSummerSelfies instead!
Day 2 we did The Royal Ontario Museum (the mummies and dinosaurs were our favourite), then toured around the beautiful Casa Loma, in which I faced my fear of heights numerous times going up and down very tight windy staircases to get up to the top of the castle towers. After all that, I experienced my VERY FIRST Toronto Streetmeat (which was delicious), and walked about 20 steps to an ice cream truck for dessert!
From Toronto we headed down to Niagara Falls, for the touristy experience! Clifton Hill, Dino-Golf (which I beat him at… I kept the scorecard to prove it!), a stop at Niagara Brewing Company, the Hard Rock Cafe or dinner, and of course a walk by the Falls to watch the fireworks!
Day 3, we did our first ever Wine Tour in Niagara-on-the-Lake. We visited 4 wineries, got a bunch of different tastings at each, and had lunch. It was definitely the highlight of the trip for me! And I’m proud of myself… I ONLY bought 5 bottles of wine… (4 now since we already drank one).
And we ended off the trip across the boarder to watch the Toronto Blue Jays’ farm team, the Buffalo Bisons! (It was also superhero night, but David wouldn’t take a selfie with Batman!)
I can’t believe that’s the end of it! Our last Summer 2016 vacation! Enjoy the last bit of YOURS!
