A man punched a bear in the face…and won.
Ex-Boxer Wins Out Against Bear
61 year old Rick Nelson was walking his dog in the Panache area in Northern Ontario when he stumbled upon a 300 pound black bear with its cub. The bear got up on its hind legs ready to attack. Nelson was a bear hunter for many years and said that he knew exactly what to do, punch the bear square in the snout. The bear was so startled that she took off with her cub leaving Nelson with only a few scratches.
I guess all of his boxing training paid off!
