Aggressive Dog Put Down At Midland Park

Animal Posed Threat To Public Safety

Despite best efforts, Midland Police had to put down a vicious dog. Just after lunchtime today, Huronia Animal Control was called out to Little Lake Park with reports of a dangerous animal. They tried several techniques to try and subdue the 100lbs Cane Corso breed dog, but the animal continued acting aggressively. Police were called in, who evacuated the park, and began an extensive search for the animal’s owner. Soon it was determined the dog posed a significant threat to public safety, and had to be put down.
