Barrie Man Charged Following September Poppy Box Theft
Social Media Played A Part In The Suspect's Arrest
Barrie Police say the man responsible for a poppy box theft in the Fall was thrown behind bars. The theft happened at O’Sullivan’s Animal Hospital on Leacock Dr. back in late September, police say someone went into the vet’s office and snatched the donation box from the counter. Following what police say was help from social media, a 43-year-old Barrie man was on Monday arrested and charged for the theft. He’ll be in court in mid-February.
