Brits Want ‘Drive-Safe’ Mode For Smartphones

Road safety experts in Britain says it’s time for smartphones to be fitted with a drive-safe mode to stop drivers from being distracted or overwhelmed with information. The issue with this is determining who is responsible. Vehicle and phone manufacturers say distraction is not considered a top priority in the design phase.
