It has been dormant for a couple of months, but Barrie Police say the Canada Revenue scam is back. There have been a few new complaints from residents saying they’ve been bullied by someone trying to collect cash or threatened with arrest and huge fines if they don’t pay. Police remind everyone they are not a collection agency for Canada Revenue Service and CRS itself does not operate in this manner.
