Cards Stolen From Barrie Vehicles Used Not Long After

Suspects Caught on Camera

A string of vehicle break and enters has lead to a few cases of Fraud. Barrie Police say someone broke into a car on Belcourt Ave last Friday and stole a variety of items from the vehicle, including a wallet. Cards in that wallet were used around 2:30 that morning, and the man using them was caught on camera at a Duckworth St. convenience store. He is described as:

  • Male, white
  • Approximately 5’8″
  • Early to mid 20’s
  • Wearing sunglasses, a red ball cap with black beak, headphones around his neck, black leather coat and jeans

Meanwhile, police say sometime between midnight and 6:00 Sunday morning, two vehicles were broken into at homes along Harwood Drive, with wallets stolen from both vehicles. The contents of the wallets were used at gas stations on Ferndale and Bryne Drives not long after. This suspect is described as:

  • Male, white
  • Early to mid 20’s
  • Scruffy brown beard
  • Wearing Blue Jays hat, black hooded sweatshirt, silver chain, black t-shirt and black pants
