Innisfil man found out the hard way after last night's RIDE checks
South Simcoe Police checked 415 vehicles in last night’s Festive RIDE checks. Twenty-eight roadside breath tests were conducted: two drivers were charged with Impaired Driving, two others were handed three-day suspensions for registering in the Warn Range, a fifth – under a court order to only drive vehicles equipped with an ignition interlock device – was found to be driving a friend’s car that did not have the device. He’s been charged accordingly…and his friend’s car has been impounded for seven days.
