Clinton Makes History; Takes Trump To task

America is not weak, and can be fixed 'together'

Hillary Clinton took time to thank her supporters last night as she accepted the Democratic presidential nomination. She offered special thanks to her rival Bernie Sanders, assuring him he had inspired millions, including her. Then she went on the attack, saying Donald Trump lacks the temperament to be president…

She continued: “Don’t let anyone tell you our country is weak and don’t believe anyone who can tell you: ‘I alone can fix it’. “Isn’t he forgetting troops on the front line, teachers, entrepreneurs, mothers. Americans don’t say ‘I alone can fix it’. They say ‘we can fix it together’.”

Then, it was onto the issues…

Referring to her nomination as the first woman running for President from a major US party, Clinton said: “When all the ceilings are broken through, the sky’s the limit.”
