Faulty Tray Mechanism Leads To Stroller Recall

May lead to falls

Health Canada has issued another recall notice for strollers. Six-thousand Safety 1st  Step n Go Travel Systems strollers have a tray folding mechanism that can partially disengage from one side when the infant car seat is attached. This poses a fall hazard. There have been no reports of injuries. Dorel Juvenile Canada is offering free repair kits. The strollers were sold in Canada between May 2015 and June 2016. Three models are affected, identified as 01451CCYA, 01451CDGI and 01451CDGJ. The numbers are on a sewn-in label at the back of the stroller. This is the second stroller recall in as many weeks in Canada.
