First Of Three U.S. Presidential Debates Tonight
Clinton holding slight lead in polls
No more 20 second soundbites. Hillary Clinton and Donald Trump will have to explain themselves fully in their first face-to-face U.S. election debate tonight. The most recent poll gives Clinton a slight lead among voters – 46% to 44%. Another poll suggests 74 per cent of Americans will be watching the debate tonight, but 8 in 10 say it won’t change their vote. The debate begins at 9pm and will be broadcast on all major American TV networks.
