Flag Raising Ahead of World Breastfeeding Week
Week To Mark Importance of Breastfeeding Anywhere, Anytime
They raised a flag at Barrie City Hall today, to mark the kick off of World Breastfeeding Week. While it begins in earnest on October 1st, World Breastfeeding Week is to serve as a reminder that women need support and encouragement to breastfeed anytime, anywhere, wherever their kids need them. Meanwhile, the World Breastfeeding Challenge happens at Barrie City Hall this Saturday, trying to get a world record set for the most children breastfeeding simultaneously.
