Growing up in an Italian house, every fall my father would go down to the Danforth and buy bushels and bushels of Roma tomatoes. We’d wash them, and lay them out to ripen before preparing our Sauce. Here’s a look at how we used to do it in the 80’s and a look at how I Macgyver sauce today! Enjoy! Times have changed!
