Mike was diagnosed with Hep C in 2010, and shortly after he got the news, he told an audience “ I want to die Laughing,” also adding “I’d be very embarrassed doing a stupid thing,” so here’s hoping he did.
Since the sad news was confirmed by his brother, the world of comedy has been taking to social to express their sorrow and appreciation for the comic!
Brendan Mertens, who calls MacDonald his “friend/mentor and comedy Dad,” sent the Ottawa citizen the trailer for a movie that tells the story of the comedian’s ups and downs over the past years.
