Marijuana Use Among Youth In Colorado Down Since Legalization

Minor Dip In Usage, Despite Initial Fears To The Contrary

Fewer kids in Colorado are smoking the wacky tobacky, so says the Public Health Department. Since the state legalized Marijuana in January of 2014, those in the know say there’s been a four per cent decrease in the number of youth using the stuff, down to 21 per cent. A major argument against legalization in the state at the time was that it would lead to an increase in pot use among high schoolers. Canada is expected to legalize recreational marijuana use in 2017.
