Mayor Jeff Lehman – In Lehman’s Terms

Barrie Mayor Jeff Lehman joins us monthly, bringing us up to speed on developments in Barrie and insight into decisions made by City Council

January

The mayor delivered his state of the city address to a Barrie Chamber of Commerce luncheon on January 24. He talked about housing availability and prices, growth downtown and in the annexed lands, jobs, flipping the switch from PowerStream to Alectra, the downtown market, Georgian College expansion and a possible solution to traffic woes around Mapleview and Highway 400. There were even some references to U.S. president Donald Trump. We’ve broken his speech down into sections.
