Meet CoverGirl’s First Ever MALE Ambassador

James Charles is the first ever male CoverGirl ambassador.

The make-up giant made the announcement this week.

James is a senior in high school, and a make-up artist who does online tutorials for his 511,000+ followers on social media! He will be featuring the cosmetics line’s new mascara ‘So Lashy’ in TV, print and digital advertisements, and he’ll be working alongside current CoverGirl ambassador, Katy Perry.

James said he would like to “keep doing looks and tutorials, and [he’d] love to eventually start [his] own makeup line.”  And since, Katy Perry has her own line with the company, who knows!

I am so beyond excited and overwhelmed and happy and astonished and of course, SHOOK, to announce that I am the newest face of @covergirl. First ever male ambassador for the brand and I am so honored and excited to be working with such an iconic brand. I started my Instagram one year ago to inspire others and as an artistic outlet to challenge myself creatively. I truly hope that this shows that anyone and everyone can wear makeup and can do anything if you work hard.
