Midland Police, Association Reach Agreement

Police Service Uniform and Civilian Employees Due For A Raise

The Midland Police Service and its association have been able to hammer out a collective bargaining agreement. It contains a raise over three years for both uniform and civilian employees. Depending on rank and duties, that raise could be as high as 7 per cent by the end of 2018. Police Board Chair George Dixon calls this settlement as fair, not only for Midland Police Service employees, but also Midland taxpayers.
