OFFICER ASSAULTED

A police officer was attacked in Innisfil last night.  South Simcoe police were called to a home for a dispute.  The officers found a 23-year-old drunk woman who allegedly threw a metal object at an officer.  She’s facing charges of assault.  Fortunately the officer was not hurt.
