UNWANTED BRIBE

Barrie OPP say they clocked a car on the 400 in Oro-Medonte this week travelling 54 klicks over the posted limit.  When they stopped the vehicle, the 26 year old driver from Scarborough made a feeble attempt to bribe the officer to drop the charge.  The officer was not amused, arrested the man and charged him with bribery, not to mention the stunt driving charge, he loses his licence and vehicle for 7 days and faces a hefty fine.
