Not Everyone Is Out Of The Dark Just Yet

Crews Working 24/7 To Get The Power Back On

As we head into day three after the ice storm, there are still some people who do not have power. Crews have been working around the clock to get the lights back on for those who are still in the dark. The numbers have come down significantly, at less than 160 people in the city of Barrie. At the height of the storm, close to 23-thousand people were in the dark. Most of the problems that crews have been dealing with are, ice build up on lines,  trees that have fallen on lines and there have been a number of transformer fires.
