Collision on Trail Involving Deer

A sledder is in hospital after a crash involving a deer. Barrie OPP say around 6:00 last night, emergency crews rushed out to the snowmobile trail between the 4th and 5th Lines of Oro Medonte, with reports a sledder had struck a deer. The 56-year-old snowmobile driver was airlifted to Toronto hospital with serious, non-life threatening injuries. Police continue to investigate as they remind snowmobilers to abide by all rules of the trail.
