Pharmacy Theft Suspect Picked Up Off Streets of Collingwood
Suspect Nabbed Within Hours of Robbery
Some sharp eyes helped put the cuffs on a pharmacy robbery suspect. Collingwood OPP say someone went into the IDA on Hurontario St around 2:00 Sunday afternoon, told staff he had a gun, and demanded narcotics. Later on that evening, an officer out on patrol came across a guy matching the suspect’s description, walking along Birch St. near Sixth. A 26-year-old man was taken downtown to be charged with Violent Robbery.
