Quebec Grocery Stores Sending Unused Produce to Food Banks

Quebec Supermarkets made a huge step in helping thousands in need by donating all unused produce to local food banks.

It’s part of their Supermarket Recovery Program. The first of its kind in Canada, solving the issue of food waste and providing nutritious meal options for so many in need.

In total, 611 grocery stores are taking part in the new program.
