Salt N Pepa And En Vogue Will Reunite For A Performance At This Year’s Billboard Music Awards!
They are celebrating their debut on the US charts 30 years ago!
The two groups made history when they became the first female hip-hop acts to hit the U.S. top 40.
Fun facts:
Salt-N-Pepa’s Push It became the first rap song by a female act to hit the top 40 in 1988.
They hit the top three in 1994 with their En Vogue collaboration Whatta Man.
They will join Kelly Clarkson, Camila Cabello, Ariana Grande, Jennifer Lopez, Shawn Mendes, and Christina Aguilera and Demi Lovato, among the other acts, performing at the ceremony on May 20. The 2018 Billboard Music Awards will take place at the MGM Grand Garden Arena in Las Vegas.
