Seth Rogen & Billy Eichner Will Reportedly Voice ‘Timon & Pumbaa” In The New Lion King

The Duo Was Originally Voiced By Nathan Lane And Ernie Sabella

Disney’s live-action remake of The Lion King is starting to take shape, slowly but surely.

Yesterday, Disney announced that the movie will be released on July 19th, 2019. We already know that Donald Glover will voice Simba, and James Earl Jones will reprise his role as Mufasa. Now, rumours are swirling that director Jon Favreau has found his Timon and Pumbaa.

Seth Rogen & Billy Eichner are reportedly in final negotiations to voice the iconic duo. In the 1994 version of The Lion King, Timon was voiced by Nathan Lane, and Pumbaa was voiced by Ernie Sabella.

Do you think Rogen & Eichner have what it takes to tackled Hakuna Matata?
