Singhampton Home Destroyed By Fire
Wind and heat hampered firefighters
A house fire Sunday, south of Singhampton, caused $300-thousand. Clearview Fire crews got the call late Sunday afternoon to Concession 11 south of Sideroad 9-10 Nottawasaga. Wind and the heat made it a challenging fire to fight. Fire officials say it began on an outside deck and found its way to the attic. It is not considered suspicious, and the home did have working smoke alarms.
