SIU Clears Midland Police Following Ankle Injury
Man Allegedly Jumped Railing To Evade Arrest
Ontario’s Special Investigations Unit has cleared the Midland Police Service of any wrongdoing after a man was hurt during an arrest in August. Police tried to arrest a fella at a rooming house in town on August 18th, saying he jumped a deck railing in an attempt to flee, but ended up falling and hurting his ankle. The SIU says that’s his fault, not the cops.
