Sprinkler Makes Short Work of Delivery Depot Fire
Fire Started In Truck, Didn't Get Very Far
The sprinkler system took care of a blaze in Barrie before fire crews even got there. Barrie Fire tells us a small fire started in a truck as it pulled into the UPS depot on Welham Road. A staff member called 911 after trying on their own with an extinguisher. The sprinkler kicked on and doused the flame before fire crews got there. No injuries were reported as a result.
