Starbucks Straws Recalled
Could be hazard to children
Starbucks has recalled its metal drinking straws, 300,000 of them in Canada. There’s a risk they could pose an injury hazard for young children using them while simultaneously engaged in activities, such as running or jumping. Starbucks has had one report of injury in Canada; there have been three in the U.S. Health Canada is urging parents not to let children handle or use the straws and dispose of the product in the household garbage.
