Friday Aug 26
The 163rd Barrie Fair is on at the Essa Agriplex, this year they’re proud to feature the RCMP Musical Ride with 4 shows tomorrow and Sunday. Other highlights include the vertical zone demonstration today and truck & tractor pull tonight at 7pm. Kids 5 & under get in free, gates are open until 11pm tonight.
The 2nd Collingwood Craft Beer & Cider Festival opens today. Happening at Eddie Bush Memorial Arena from 5-9pm tonight. Take sips and samples from over 20 different craft breweries and ciders and a variety of food vendors. Two musical guests tonight including Drew Wright performing at 530pm.
The OK Friday Barnfair is on at Burls Creek Event Grounds in Oro. Community driven art and farmers market with a showcase of music, fresh food, produce and more from 3-8pm tonight.
Orillia Ribfest kicks off today at Tudhope Park on Lake Couchiching. Today from 4-11 with the kids fun zone, beer garden, some of N.A. top rib teams grilling the best in ribs, pulled pork and chicken. With vendor area, kids zone and live entertainment.
The 33rd Annual Bracebridge Antique Sale starts today from The Fairgrounds at JD Lang Park.
Saturday Aug 27
The 14th Barrie Dragon Boat Festival is running today out of Heritage Park with over 50 teams paddling on Kempenfelt Bay, on land you can explore the vendor village, kids activity area and take in some live music. This event has raised over $1.6 million for charities around Simcoe County. The official waking of the dragon ceremony will kick everything off bright and early this morning. The Dragon Boat Festival is hosted by the Barrie Public Library.
Gates are open at The 163rd Barrie Fair today from 9-11 tonight from the Essa Agriplex. Today’s main attraction marks the return of the RCMP Musical Ride with 2 shows at 1130 and 430. The APC Late Model Series will turn 100 laps in a main event feature at Sunset Speedway, Innisfil with the opening green flag at 3pm.

Final day of the 163rd Barrie Fair at the Essa Agriplex. Kids 5 and under get in free, gates are open from 9-6 tonight. Today’s main attraction is not to be missed with the RCMP Musical Ride hosting 2 shows at 1130 and 430. See Team K9, Circus Jonathan and meet the farm animals in the education centre. Kool Days of Summer Street Team will be on location!
The 9th Annual Savour Simcoe an award winning food and drink culinary event showcasing local farmers, restaurants and chefs happening today at the Simcoe County Museum.
