July 22

Wayhome Music & Arts opens today at Burls Creek Event Grounds in Oro. 3 days, 4 stages over 60 bands. First group on stage at 1pm and LCD Soundsystem is tonight’s headliner on the main stage at 930. KOOL FM is on location!

The Muskoka In-Water Boat & Cottage Show together with Muskoka Ribfest, it’s the best of both worlds in summer and it all starts today at the Muskoka Wharf in Gravenhurst. With food hot off the grill, entertainment and over 100 boat and cottage exhibits and its free admission. The Boat Show is on until 6p and Ribfest until 11p tonight.

Downtown Orillia’s Summer Block Party launches today. A downtown Orillia Street Festival with entertainment, kids zone, sidewalk sales and fun for the whole family.

1st ever Wasaga Beach Ribfest starts today at Beach Area 1 and Playland Park.

The Collingwood Elvis Festival officially starts with tonight’s Opening Ceremony during the Street Party on Hurontario Street, that’ll start around 3p.

The 53rd Annual Haliburton Art & Craft Festival will be at Head Lake Park all weekend with over 125 artists on location.

4th Annual Bradford Ribfest opens today featuring 5 top N.A. Rib Teams, at Zehrs Markets Field with kids zone, live music and more.

 

July 23

Days 2 of Wayhome Music & Arts from Burls Creek Event Grounds in Oro. With bands performing across 4 different stages, starting at 1p and Arcade Fire headline the main stage tonight they’ll be on at 930. Kool FM is on location!

The Muskoka In-Water Boat & Cottage Show combined with Muskoka Ribfest continues from Muskoka Wharf in Gravenhurst today. Big show with over 100 boat and cottage exhibits, professional BBQ teams grilling up the food with entertainment and more and its free admission. Boat show until 6p, Ribfest until 11p tonight.

The Collingwood Elvis Festival brings sideburns of all lengths to Hurontario Street during the Tribute Artist Classic Car Parade to start the day.

It’s a giant Street Festival downtown Orillia with the Orillia Summer Block Party.

Wasaga Beach Ribfest is a first event of its kind today at Beach Area 1 and Playland Park Square.

Double-header weekend as our Barrie Baycats are on the road in Brantford for an 8p game tonight. Back home tomorrow night for Guelph at 7p.

Short track racing goes back under the lights tonight from Sunset Speedway, Innisfil. Where the Nascar Whelen Series divisions compete for points and awards. Opening green flag drops at 6p.

The Blueberry Pancake Festival is at Barrie Hill Farms this weekend. Perfect start to blueberry picking season with blueberry pancakes and sausages supporting hearts and minds at RVH today and tomorrow.

The Classics in the Park Car Show brings some hot rods to Heritage Park on Barrie’s Waterfront today. Until 4p nearly 400 rides of all kinds will be judged, plus tour vendors row and enjoy lunch alongside Kempenfelt Bay today.

28th Annual Baysville Walkabout Festival today on the Main Street.

July 24

Closing Day at Wayhome Music & Arts from Burls Creek in Oro. 20 acts across 4 stages starting at 1p and tonight’s mainstage headliner is The Killers at 930. Kool FM is on location!

Final day of The Muskoka In-Water Boat & Cottage Show & Muskoka Ribfest. Food, entertainment and over 100 boat and cottage exhibits. It close at 6p tonight. KOOL FM is LIVE with KOOL DAYS OF SUMMER this morning!

The Street Festival continues with the Downtown Orillia Summer Block Party.

A 2016 Grand Champion will be crowned today at The Collingwood Elvis Festival.

Wednesday take a trip to Discovery Harbour in Penetang for a Ghost Tour. Happening Wednesday’s all summer long, guided tours by candlelight through the historic site, this Wednesday starting at 9p.

Thursday Check out Sainte-Marie by Candlelight, a guided tour highlighting French and First Nations stories, this and every Thursday from 630-8 all summer long at Sainte-Marie Among the Hurons in Midland.
