There’s a Boston-based consumer watchdog group whose job it is to keep kids safe by warning parents of dangerous toys….
Certain outdoor play things- toys in which have been a summer staple have been deemed unsafe all of a sudden.
The World Against Toys Causing Harm better known as W.A.T.C.H released its list of questionable toys…
Topping this year’s (“Suck the fun out of Summer List”) are water balloon slingshot and the Slip N Slide…(If you didn’t get grass stains in the process, you were doing it wrong)
Others include low-riding wheeled toys;
swimming pools; all-terrain vehicles; toys with small parts; baby pools, buckets; backyard water slides; high-powered water guns; and bounce houses and backyard trampolines.
The group says more than 2.5 million American children are injured each summer. It says many of those accidents are preventable.
