The Town of Innisfil is Uber excited!
No buses in Innisfil, instead we get Uber drivers!
The town has opted out of a bus system and instead will offer its 36,000 residents guaranteed rates and rides through the app….
Residents will pay a base fee to travel around the town and the city will foot the bill for the rest of the fare. This could be a great new model for some of the other towns in the area which don’t have their own transit system.
