Veering Van Vexes The Law

Toronto Man Charged After Police Had To Swerve

A motorcycle cop claims to have good reason for pulling a van over in Bradford. The South Simcoe Police traffic officer had to take evasive action to avoid being hit by the full sized van, after they claim the vehicle crossed the centre line into northbound traffic. It happened on 10th Sideroad near the 12th Line of Bradford around noon Wednesday. The van was stopped a short distance away, where police say they learned the 21-year-old Toronto man behind the wheel didn’t have a driver’s licence. He’s facing appropriate charges.
