Powerful PSA With Shocking Twist Goes Viral
I didn’t see it coming.
And that’s the whole point of this public service announcement.
The Sandy Hook Promise, a US nonprofit organization that works to protect children from gun violence, released this very real PSA for their national ‘Know the Signs’ campaign. The organization was created by family of the victims from the Sandy Hook Elementary School massacre in Newtown, Connecticut, December 14th, 2012.
It’s called ‘Evan,’ and the video follows a high school student, developing a relationship at the end of the school year that he hopes will last the Summer, and without spoiling anything, you feel that the story isn’t going end well, but you never expect the gruesome twist at the end…
