Walking And Smoking Could Soon Become Illegal
Could this soon be a reality?
Should walking and smoking be illegal? One councilman is introducing legislation in New York City that would make it illegal to walk down New York City sidewalks…and people are TORN.
Councilman Peter Koo is introducing the legislation on Wednesday, in what he says is an attempt to keep secondhand smoke away from pedestrians.
If the bill is passed into law people would be fined $50 if they were caught walking and smoking on city streets.
