Webinar Will Help Young People With Mental Illness
And raise money for RVH
Help is here for young people struggling with mental illness. Move-it for Young Minds is hosting an event for students on November 17. “Log On and Help Out” – an interactive live classroom webinar – is designed to have two positive outcomes. First, to assist teens in building social-emotional learning skills, and second, to raise money for the Move-it for Young Minds charity. Participants will learn, and practice, self-awareness, self-regulation and social awareness. The webinar coincides with Children’s Grief Awareness Day Amber McAuley – who will lead the webinar and has dealt with her own mental health issues – tells us more.
