UPDATE: Driver Sought After Elderly Man Found Face Down in Midland Ditch
78-year-old Airlifted To Toronto Hospital
Sept. 14th – A review of nearby security footage has police believing there is a witness to a collision that put an elderly man into hospital. Officers say the vehicle pictured below pulled into a parking lot very close to where the victim was located, and police would like to speak to the driver.
Sept. 12th – Investigators are asking for help after discovering an injured elder in the ditch. Around noon Saturday, a 78-year-old bicyclist was found face down, suffering severe injuries, in a ditch at Balm Beach and Sundowner Roads in Midland. He’s been airlifted to Toronto trauma centre while police ask for help in shedding light on what happened.
