Woman Arrested After Phony Fifty Used at Alliston Walmart
Counterfeit $50 Used in Attempt to Buy Gift Cards
A New Tecumseth woman probably isn’t laughing after they say she tried to spend some funny money in Alliston. Monday morning, its said the woman tried to buy some gift cards at the Walmart there, using counterfeit 50 dollar bills. Police were called without her noticing, and the 28-year-old woman was still there when cops arrived to arrest and charge her.
