World’s Largest Airship Takes Maiden Flight

They’re calling it the ‘Flying Bum’ (it looks like two blimps stitched together). It took off on its maiden flight in England this week filled with more than a million cubic feet of helium. It can climb to 16-thousand feet and stay afloat for five days. Potential uses are for surveillance, communications and humanitarian aid deliveries. Click here for more.
