A Not So Wonderful Day In The Neigbourhood

Pokemon and movie-makers taking a toll

A Michigan couple has had enough of Pokemon Go. The couple has filed a class action suit against Pokemon Go’s creator alleging the game has turned their neighbourhood into a nightmare with blocked driveways and people trespassing on their lawns.

A different issue for residents of a Toronto neighbourhood – those living near a house in Riverdale often used for movie and commercial shoots. There have been at least ten in the last year, including the Stephen King novel IT and Oprhan Black. Residents say crews sit on their properties, leave litter behind, and there’s excessive noise from generators.
