In honour of celebrating this delicious day, here are some of the BEST Chocolate Milkshake recipes I could find, for the kiddies AND for the adults!

Let’s start with kid-friendly ones… 


Chocolate Banana Milkshake

1 banana, frozen and chunked
6 tablespoons powdered chocolate-flavored drink mix
1 cup milk
2 cups vanilla ice cream

Place the frozen banana chunks, powdered drink mix, milk, and vanilla ice cream into a blender, and blend until smooth and creamy. Pour into large glasses.

Chocolate Peanut Butter Shake

1⁄2 cup creamy peanut butter
2 cups vanilla ice cream
1⁄2 cup chocolate syrup
1⁄2 cup milk
chopped peanuts
whipped cream, and maraschino cherry for each glass (optional)

Combine peanut butter, ice cream, chocolate syrup and milk in a blender and blend until smooth. Pour into glasses. Serve with a dollop of whipped cream and top with chopped nuts and maraschino cherry if desired.

The Classic

3 scoops of chocolate ice cream
Chocolate syrup
1/2 cup of milk

In blender combine all ingredients and blend until smooth. Pour into glass and enjoy!

Nutella Irish Cream Milkshake

1 cup vanilla ice cream
1/4 cup Nutella
1 shot Bailey’s Irish Cream

Puree all ingredients in a blender. Serve immediately.

Chocolate Chip Cookie Bailey’s Shake

2 1/2 cups coffee ice cream
1 1/2 cups milk
1/2 cup irish cream liqueur
2 large chocolate chip cookies + 1 more to crumble on top
6 ice cubes

Add all ingredients to a blender and process until almost smooth, leaving some small pieces of cookie if possible. Pour in glasses and crumble more cookies on top. Serve!
