Minor Derailment Near Washago
No Injuries As Several Cars Fall Off Track South of Town
A derailment outside of Washago is being called minor. Folks over at Ramara Fire Service say it was a CN rail train that went off the tracks around the noon hour today, no reports of any injuries after a few cars left the track in the Rama and Dock Roads area. Specialized equipment was brought in to haul the train back on track, while police investigate how it derailed in the first place.
