‘A League Of Their Own’ Reboot Is Finally Happening

Amazon announced that a TV reboot to the classic 1992 film A League of Their Own is coming. There had been some talk a few years ago about a possible reboot, but we had heard nothing until now.

We know that the new show will be a one-hour series about the Rockford Peaches and will be written by Abbi Jacobson from Broad City.

The original movie is about the All-American Girls Professional Baseball League. Penny Marshall directed the popular film, which starred Tom Hanks, Geena Davis, and Lori Petty, as well as Madonna, Rosie O’Donnell, and Megan Cavanagh. Per Variety,
