Adele took to Instagram yesterday to share some very exciting news with fans: she’ll be kicking off a European tour for her new album, 25, at the end of February next year. According to her website, the 27-year-old British songstress will be starting the tour in Belfast, before making her way to Dublin, London, Glasgow, and Berlin, among other European cities. No word on a North American tour just yet..
Adam Lambert may have been a hit on American Idol but 13,000 Singaporeans have signed an online petition trying to get him booted off the stage at the city-state’s largest New Year’s eve concert because they say his performances are overly sexual. The concert organizer said it was sticking with Lambert, a runner-up on American idol who caused controversy during his 2009 American Music Awards performance when he kissed his male keyboardist and stimulated sexual acts with dancers. Sex between men is illegal in Singapore.
Carly Rae Jepsen is in Toronto…she’s partnered with Duracell to visit Sick Kids Hospital to hand out toys and the batteries that power them as part of the Duracell’s powering the holiday smile program in support of children’s miracle network! For every pack of Duracell batteries that you buy at Walmart until Dec 31st, money will be donated to the children miracle network, with the goal of raising $100,000.
Movies out this weekend:
Disney’s The Good Dinosaur
Seth Rogan’s The Night Before
The Backstreet Boys & Spice Girls might be doing a reunion tour next year.. Joe Jonas is now saying the Jonas Brothers might get back together.. Two years after they officially called it quits, the bros — Joe, Nick and Kevin — haven’t completely closed the door to their boy band life…but, unfortunately, don’t expect it to happen anytime soon. They told MTV that they love each other and year’s from now it could happen… (I’m thinking when their solo careers are in the toilet)
