Alliston Hospital Employee Facing Internet Luring, Child Porn Charges

Two Search Warrants Executed, Eleven Computers Seized

An employee of an Alliston hospital allegedly used his position to gain information about an underage girl he’s accused of luring. The OPP started investigating six weeks ago, after getting a tip about a man communicating online with a young girl in a sexual manner. Investigators say in working at Stevenson Memorial Hospital, he was able to get more information about the victim. Police say they searched his office and his home on Wednesday, with eleven computers and one external hard drive seized. The 34-year-old suspect now faces three counts of Internet Luring, one of Sending Explicit Material to a Minor, and one each of Distribution of, and Possession of Child Pornography.
