Alliston Hospital Recognized For Lowest Average ER Wait Time
Stevenson Wait Time Nearly Two Hours Less Than Average
Alliston’s health centre has something to crow about. Stevenson Memorial Hospital has received recognition for the exemplary performance of its Emergency Room last year. The Ministry of Health and Long Term Care handed down the kudos, after they say the hospital maintained the lowest Emergency Department length of stay for all patients, at a medium-volume community hospital. Stevenson’s average wait time of 4.7 hours came in at far less than the overall average of 6.6 hours.
