Angus Man Comes Down With A Bad Case Of Lead Footitis

Cops Say He Was Going Twice The Speed Limit

An Angus man is up on charges after they say he was going twice the speed limit. Around 7:00 last night, an OPP officer had the radar gun out on 25th Sideroad near the 9th Line west of Barrie, when he spotted a high miler. Police say the vehicle was travelling at 127km/h in a 60 zone. The 44-year-old man behind the wheel was charged with Stunt Driving, and he lost both his licence and vehicle for a week, but gained a December court date.
