Arrest Made In Hold-Up Attempt At Mac’s
Suspect had a knife
Barrie Police have a 36 year old man in custody after an armed hold-up last night at the Mac’s Convenience Store at Anne Street North and Janice Drive. Police say a man, armed with a knife, entered the store around 9:30 p.m. and made a demand for cash. The clerk refused and the man fled. Police arrested a suspect a short distance away.
